Wowo started as a simple sketch of a dog - and became a symbol of companionship and positivity. Through thoughtful character design, 01design humanized Wowo in multiple styles, from sporty to casual, capturing the universal spirit of friendship. The brand grew into a collection of 3D models, collectibles, and merchandising items that bring Wowo’s personality to life, from t-shirts to mugs and stickers.

Challenges

Turning a mascot into a meaningful brand required more than a cute design. The challenge was to build an emotional identity that could adapt across different media - from illustrations and 3D prints to social storytelling - while keeping Wowo authentic and relatable. Another goal was to develop versions customized for sports teams and communities, creating local engagement without losing the brand’s core personality.

01design built Wowo’s identity as a living ecosystem - a flexible, empathetic design language that thrives across mediums. The studio designed dozens of expressive poses and color variations, ensuring adaptability from print to 3D reproduction. On social media, Wowo became a friendly ambassador of positivity and creativity, supported by a consistent visual tone and narrative voice. The project evolved into collectible 3D models printed with next-generation technologies, merging craftsmanship and digital design.
